It’s official – I no longer own a Ford Escort. I have surrendered the title to State Farm.
My car insurance went up over $100 for my new car! What a bummer! I guess that’s the price of owning a newer car.
Today is my day off so I’m sitting at Panera using the internet in Hagerstown, MD. It’s a nice place – huge, really. And they have good rolls.
My current vehicle is a 2008 Toyota Highlander, fully loaded. Wow! It’s quite the car!!! My Chevy is in for service so this is the loaner car they gave me. It’s a sweet ride – a $40,000 vehicle. I could NEVER pay that much for a car!!!
Tonight I start in a volleyball league at the YMCA. I haven’t met my team yet. I missed the scrimmage last week because I was driving to Alabama. It’ll be interesting to see how well we play as a team for our first game. I haven’t played in so long!
I had a good trip to AL. It was so nice to see family that I hadn’t seen in years. With family spread out all over the country, it’s not often that we all get together. So it was a sweet time of fellowship despite the circumstance surrounding our gathering.
God is at work growing me and teaching me! I do wish it didn’t have to be so painful sometimes!
