Rapid City, South Dakota is where my little brother calls home. He runs a Christian Camp here. It’s kinda funny that I call him my little brother since he’s been taller than for forever. But that’s just life, right? He’ll always be my little/baby brother.
Ben and Terrah love it here in the Black Hills. And I love visiting them and my nieces. The girls are 10, 8 and 4. And I adore them!
There’s just something special about being an aunt! I can love on them and spoil them. I can teach them things and answer a thousand questions. It never gets old. My heart simply expands with more love each time I visit them.
When I arrived yesterday, the younger two ran out to my car. They were jumping up and down with excitement. I’d barely opened the door when they were asking if I’d brought crafts for us to do. Of course I did!!
I typically like to bring out my Paper Pumpkin kits with my nieces. The kits contain everything you need for some fun projects! For $20, you get a red box of fun! (Side note: if you subscribe by May 10th, you can get 50% off your first 2 month! Just use code: SAVEFIFTY0418).
I pulled out the April 2018 kit called You Are My Anchor. My nieces were super excited the anchors and paper. This kit made 20 cards and 4 boxes. The boxes could fit 5 cards with coordinating envelopes. The cards are about 3″ x 3″ and so cute! They were simple and quick to make with my nieces. We laughed. We had fun crafting together. And the girls were so pleased by what they got done by themselves.
Being an aunt is one of the best titles in life. And it’s not one I take for granted. These girls are a precious part of my life!!
