Painted Glass Thank You Cards

Today, on Coffee and a Card, I made these beautiful Painted Glass Thank You cards. My parents are retiring next month and my mom requested some thank you cards that she could use.

I’m pretty sure she will love the color combination. I chose Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green as the main colors, offset with a little Coastal Cabana. The end result is rather striking. Here is how you can make the same cards!

Cut the Coastal Cabana cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″, then score at 5 1/2″ and fold in half.

Cut the Whisper White cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Adhere this piece on the inside of the Coastal Cabana base.

Cut your Bermuda Bay cardstock at 4″ x 5 1/4″.

Use your Big Shot and Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to emboss the piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock.

Cut a 5″ piece of Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon. Adhere the ribbon to the Bermuda Bay cardstock.

Cut your Whisper White cardstock at 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ and cut a strip of Graceful Glass Vellum at 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. Adhere the Vellum on the Whisper White cardstock. Then adhere the pair on your Bermuda Bay cardstock. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attached the Bermuda Bay piece to the Coastal Cabana card base.

Use the Bermuda Bay & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the Graceful Glass Vellum. You can mix the dark and light as desired.

Take the Pretty Label Punch and punch a label from a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.
